Windows 10 solves everything.

We have software on one of our computers that communicates with multiple other companies. Think how travel websites can list flight information from multiple airlines. The computer is really old and was still using Windows 7 with 4GB of RAM. Out of nowhere the software stopped communicating with one of the companies but still was able to work perfectly for the other companies.

For the past 3 days the developers have been scratching their heads trying to fix the problem. It turns out the company without telling anyone updated their communication protocols which Windows 7 doesn't have but Windows 10 does. It took a bit but I was able to upgrade the computer to Windows 10 but we ran into the exact same error message. I stayed late but ultimately left with the computer still running installing various Windows updates.

I got in this morning with my shipper all happy saying everything was working. I have no idea how that happened. Maybe one of the updates solved it? I have no idea but there ya go Windows 10 solves everything.
