All fun in games till a certain state alchemist wants to renew his license.

What could possibly go wrong?!

A kink in the slurry hose.

This sounds like the title of a horror short story.

I_might_be_weasel@reddit (OP)

It totally does.

_JustThisOne_@reddit

We can fix that with a firmer hose in version 2.0 to sell more units

PsychologicalTowel79@reddit

Just feed the old pets to their replacements. We can do that now.

nrith@reddit

So the poultry industry?
View on Reddit #66320584

I_might_be_weasel@reddit (OP)

Oh, look at Mr fancy pants here. With his replacement pets that aren't made out of liquefied former pets.

PsychologicalTowel79@reddit

They could be liquefied. Maybe the new pets appreciate a smoothie?
View on Reddit #66270554

Ban2u@reddit

Yeah, but then you end up with only the material to make more unwanted pets, since you can't make a golden retriever with derpy pug juice.

Riptide360@reddit

Are these 3D printed plastic "pets"?
View on Reddit #66289915

I_might_be_weasel@reddit (OP)

No. They are printed out of the liquefied remains of animals.
View on Reddit #66289960

Riptide360@reddit

Probably letting pets breed and make miniature versions is going to work better for you.
View on Reddit #66292613

essensiedashuhn@reddit

No one told you how babies are made yet, huh?
View on Reddit #66264298

I_might_be_weasel@reddit (OP)

These are pets, not babies. Having a pet baby sounds really illegal.
View on Reddit #66264401

andthomp85@reddit

Legalize it!

quigongingerbreadman@reddit

Pets procreate the same way... In case you didn't get it yet, most animals procreate by the male secreting basically liquidized them onto a female's egg.
View on Reddit #66265953

I_might_be_weasel@reddit (OP)

Well that will become obsolete with this machine.

Big_Z_Beeblebrox@reddit

That machine is deoxyribonucleic acid. It's a chemical machine. It drives the exact processes you've described throughout nature.

I was imagining some sort of blender like device on the top.

Hot-Win2571@reddit

Yes. Teeth, stomach.
View on Reddit #66288599

NaiveZest@reddit

Do they have to be alive?!?!
View on Reddit #66288136

I_might_be_weasel@reddit (OP)

No. The machine will come with a mercy mallet.
View on Reddit #66288239

Infamous-Arm3955@reddit

Huh. Recycling. Does it have to be cats to cats or can you liquify say 18 hamsters to print a cat?
View on Reddit #66286891

I_might_be_weasel@reddit (OP)

Anything to anything. The mass just has to match. Don't run out partway through a pet.
View on Reddit #66287991

capnlatenight@reddit

This assumes that both pets are approximately the same size? Infinite meat glitch otherwise.
View on Reddit #66284161

I_might_be_weasel@reddit (OP)

No, the goo can be made into whatever. You don't need to use exactly one pet to make another pet. Like you could turn a horse into a thousand hamsters or something.
View on Reddit #66286304

capnlatenight@reddit

I was thinking the other way - turn a rodent of any fast-breeding into a cow. Infinite meat glitch.
View on Reddit #66286980

I_might_be_weasel@reddit (OP)

You would need many many rodents to make a cow.
View on Reddit #66287008

otkabdl@reddit

That reminds me of those old toy ovens where you put goo in a mold and "cooked" it and you had new pet bug

If we're going to do printed pets I feel a lot of people are going to ask for a Pikachu or a miniature poney and it's going to be a messy, conformist mess like we already have with Labubus.
View on Reddit #66268667

I_might_be_weasel@reddit (OP)

Making Pikachus would be copyright infringement. That sounds a little unethical.
View on Reddit #66270995

LaundryMan2008@reddit

There are already Pikachu birds (cockatiel) and some type of furry mouse
View on Reddit #66279260

_JustThisOne_@reddit

Oh man, wait until Nintendo catches wind of this, nature is fucked.
View on Reddit #66283399

LaundryMan2008@reddit

I think Nintendo took inspiration from the cockatiel and made it a mouse instead
