When I was in college we had to kind of disappear from our fraternity for a while, a fraternity ritual, so to hide one of my roommates exchanged his car with his brothers who was going to college in the next town over. His brothers was an alfa romeo. I had never been in an Alfa Romeo before and it only heard of them by reputation. As a expensive foreign sports car. My first revelation,and I wasn't that big of a guy, was that I didn't fit in the seats. And all they were though they were beautiful hand stitched leather it felt like I was sitting on rocks. The sides of the seat were so high and hard that my butt wasn't actually touching the seat when I drove. And then I tried shifting gears... it turned out to be an exercise in futility. The gearing on it was so tight it was virtually impossible to find third gear. Typically by the time I was able to find third gear I had to shift back down to 2nd. No air conditioning. Am radio. After half hour I was done. I switched places with my fraternity brother and didn't care if I never drove that car again. One of the biggest let Downs I've ever had vehicle wise.
