Not at all. Gender is a social construct. Do you disagree? It has zero tangible meaning. Do you disagree? If we rename the colour "blue" to "pork chop" does a clear sky day actually look like a piece of fried pork or does it still look like a shade akin to a sapphire? Sex is tangible. Gender is nothing but words.

Gender has a very real meaning. The electrical signals in your brain. The hormones triggered from mentioning it (I’m not talking about testosterone or estrogen, I’m talking about things like dopamine, serotonin, epinephrine, cortisol, etc.). One of the things I hate most is when people say that something doesn’t really exist, or isn’t a real thing. If something truly didn’t exist, we couldn’t know about it, because thinking about it makes it exist in our brain.

Nothing to do with the past but to do with what is reality. No amount made up non-sensical quackery can make our genders be a spectrum. It's one or the other. You may feel more like the other gender or is attracted to the same gender or both but you are still in fact one of the 2 genders. You are a he or a she. A he that wants to be a she. A she that wants to be a he. A he that likes a she and or a he. A she that likes a he and or a she. No you cant be a dog, a cat, a broomstick, a bird, another ethnicity or some other thing that isn't baked into your genetic make up.
