Old nasty guys made my task longer

I have a story from my earlier days. I worked in phone support at the B2B level, handling calls for various companies. At that time, 3G connections were just emerging while 2G was still mainstream. We had this governmental agency as client that maintained roads as one of our clients. For this customer, we had to use a troublesome Citrix remote app that didn't support streaming, so every time you moved the mouse, it rendered the entire image over again (like jpeg after jpeg). They were also instructed to keep the wallpaper off their screens. Of course, the maintenance workers were these older guys, typically between 40 and 60 years old, with questionable humor. So, naturally, all the wallpapers featured images of naked women. Making the process even slower.

One of them asked me to install printer drivers. You can imagine how long that took, especially considering the drivers were about 200-500 MB. I started early in the morning, and while managing other tasks in the meantime, I only managed to begin the installation 30 minutes before the end of my workday. The next morning, it still took about four hours to finish answering all the installation questions in the installation process.
