Does anybody know WHY the Fedex custom critical straight trucks have such a big sleeper?

What's the longest you've waited at a deceiver?

Dry Van, 11 hours live unload Target DC Oconowomoc WI to be told I was HALF WAY unloaded. Yard dogs wouldn't look at me, fly by despite waving them down, empty/unresponsive guard shack. Finally when I got somebody on the Google'd phone number I was able to leave when I signed an "incomplete unload" waiver that placed the broker on the hook for OS&D and I rolled out of there like the Duke boys fleeing Boss Hogg.

What was the lightest load(s) you guys ever pulled?

How long have you been driving for and how many times have you driven out from under a trailer without disconnecting your lines? Anyone who says never is either super new or lying.

Paper rolls

Just this week I delivered paper rolls to PCA Morganton NC where they have *at least* 200 rolls stored outdoors (not to mention outdoor docks) just stacked 4 high. Tarped the top one, the rest? Exposed to the elements. I guess rain/humidity isn't a factor for them(?)

Dump truck guns it on yellow, runs red by 7 seconds — what would you guys say about this?

Rolling through Memphis one time I came upon a group of leather cosplayers on HDs that merged onto 240 on one of those merge lanes that becomes a lane then exit only. I needed that off ramp (I-55 S maybe?) lane that was about to end but a whole group that merged on (~50) and they acted as one homogeneous group that also needed that lane I guess. I signaled to move right but they acted as one entity and refused to let me over. As the right lane ended I forced myself right (had blinker on for what felt like 15 seconds) and half the group had to brake hard, probably pissing them off. I think they then recognized what they'd done though because there was no retaliation nor roar up and glare moments. Fuckers nearly made me take a later ramp and double back like my 80k rig can just hop back around, nevermind dock times.

How did y'all fare in the blitz?

Only witness to a fatal involving UPS. Watched an RV go 65+ into the median and down into the below 2 lane. There's that footage of the guy who fell asleep wearing a [turban?] driving into the median and slamming into the highway below. That but an RV.

Watched a flatty get a DUI at the Pilot Mt. Pleasant, IA about 8 months ago. From what I gleaned he'd been road raging with a 4 wheeler and the 4 wheeler followed him into the Pilot. Cops blocked me into my fuel stall but I was in no hurry to leave, watched the show. Cuffed, placed into cruiser, hard alcohol containers were pulled from his cab.

Drive in the right lane guys, please

The Milwaukee->Chicago, Chicago->Milwaukee corridor. 4 lanes, trucks not allowed in left 2. Every fucking truck is in lane #3. There's not that many ramps, at least not that close together the whole way there. Yet here I am, passing in lane #4 all the (probably hourly) trucks just snacking on Nutty Bars, oblivious to getting repeatedly passed on the right. It's way too stressful to have to work left, right, left, etc. all the way between these 2 cities.

I know precisely the location of both cameras, that's why I'm massively questioning the ticket. Been part those cameras 100s of times, never been ticketed

Per rental agreement, I declared that only I would drive the vehicle. I'll be calling them tomorrow asking with my company to see if this is even worth my concern
