Sure the llm is still workable I guess, but I was concerned about the high usage of disk in diffusion models and their temporary files. I guess loading the whole comfy or wangp etc on external disk could still be done. The thing is ssd metrics on macs have not been exposed correctly since M series

My only concern with the apple hardware is that i can't replace the ssd. Because I'm assuming there would be a lot of wear and tear for running the system 24/7...

It's getting interesting. I'm very keen on purchasing the rtx 4000 Blackwell. But depending on the price, 150w 32gb card that I can use full day might be better...

Well, intel doesn't necessarily to compete with tsmc that closely, they could just provide a good enough competition, so that people who wouldn't want to wait extra long wait time on tsmc would try
