Pissing in a strangers pint glass or one of theirs? Not really strange if it’s someone he knew. Very shitty of his “friend” to leave him though

Would you stay in a relationship if your partner said sex would no longer be part of it?

Posted by Affectionate-Boot-12@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 907 comments

_sheffey@reddit

Absolutely not. I could understand and even respect it if it was only a couple of times a year, but unless you’re both in your 70s there’s 0 reason for me to stop completely. I would really be trying to dig into the why they don’t want to have sex any more.

How do you adjust to the 9-5 life?

It does take time to get used to but I think the absolute worst thing you can do is take a nap when you get in. Go to bed early if you’re tired.

Do you guys think that all the sugar tax regulations have ruined soft drinks in this country?

Restaurant/cafe/etc workers, how do you feel when customers ask for the service charge to be removed?

Posted by _Twelfman@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 191 comments

_sheffey@reddit

I never care if someone doesn’t tip but we do add a service charge if it’s 8 people or more. If they ask for that to be removed I do kinda think they’re a bit of a cunt because it is more work for larger parties.

Can agree the groom probably shouldn’t be taking it but unless you’re racking up lines in front of the kids I don’t see an issue. It’s a big day in your mates life why not do what you can to enjoy it the most?

Why do you REALLY dislike women's football?

Posted by Rundo5@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 2669 comments

_sheffey@reddit

I don’t fundamentally dislike it but will only really watch it if nothing else is on. I just really dislike that they won’t criticise anything at all. None of the shots are awful it’s “oh she tried her best”. None of the penalties were absolutely shite they were “great saves”. It’s like they’re trying to convince everyone it’s better than it is when the evidence of my eyes says otherwise.

Anything that supports dementia research. So far any family members have died to cancer, but as horrible as that is I can’t even imagine having your mum not remember who you are.

Personally I don’t believe in closing off public places for filming, you can work around the public if needs mist. I don’t care who you’ve paid off, if you haven’t paid me I’m coming through!

Yeah was “spanked” often. Not sure how it afffected my current relationship with them but I’m. It particularly close (no idea if it’s due to the spanking). Also had my mouth washed out with soap a couple of times if I said something egregious.

How long do you leave food to cool before putting it in the fridge?

Posted by tattooarms@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 313 comments

_sheffey@reddit

Unless you’re placing the warm food directly next to or on top of other cold foods, nowadays it really doesn’t matter. I probably wouldnt do it if the food is boiling hot but there’s no real harm in putting warm food in there.
