• ULPT: Bartenders working Christmas office parties, keep an eye out for the guy who everyone gets along with and is the party animal. Have a laugh with him. Near the end of the night give him a free drink and tell him he'll get another he goes round with a bucket collecting tips for the bar staff.

• I don't live in UK anymore, but in 2002 I was running a pub in London and someone showed me a photo on the back page of either the Evening Standard or the Metro. Is there any way to view archived copies of the papers with the pictures? I really want that picture.

• What's something decent for the garden for UK climate? I don't really know what's in vogue just now but want to spend a couple of K on something for an average, currently boring garden. Furniture?
