Anybody else see GWAR live?

Dude I was at this show! My band played the RCKCNDY the weekend before. We had just come back from tour. Somehow we got boooked with Subminute Radio (if you remember them) and a couple of other bands. I ended up hanging with one of the venue staff the whole night because she was hot. She mentioned GWAR was playing the next weekend and I freaked out. I had only seen them once before and I needed to live that again. She said she would put me on her personal guestlist because none of her friends wanted to see GWAR. She, sadly, wouldn't be there. It was a great show.

ULPT: If you ever have bedbug bites, check into a fancy hotel.

I did do this, and it worked. I'm not sure why all the tartness on this thread. I was on a road trip to Vegas. I stayed at a fleabag in Barstow. Drove on to Vegas, stayed at a nice hotel on the strip. The bites were still pretty fresh looking and I decided to try it out. They filled out an incident report, took photos of my bites, and offered either two free nights of my choosing or an upgrade to a suite for my next stay. I mean, people are right — hotels do take this seriously, but bedbugs happen at even the nicest hotels, especially in Vegas (where I live). They're dealt with promptly and well, but only if they know about them. They like when they're told about people being bitten, they can take care of it.

There are a few big events coming up in Vegas. They always do this a few months before hand to get a baseline. They'll do it a few times to get a good sample size.

This is from the brand new Fontainebleau casino in Las Vegas. It has been under construction — albeit not continuously — for decades. The monstrosity is a joke to us locals. It's insanely expensive but not at all worth what they charge (as seen here) and has already had four top executives quit — and it's been open just over a month. Nobody expects it to survive in its current for for more than two years.

RARE sight. 2 Delta 757s in the Private jet terminal in Las Vegas. Any idea who’s chartering the pencils?
