Have any of you ever been arrested and accepted a police caution? What impact has it had?

A caution stays on your record all your life. In most cases it will only ever come up on an enhanced DBs (when relevant to the position) however it will always show up on a police certificate for travel (when travelling abroad) Always - as a trace or no love trace... No live trace is essentially*showing up* imo.

Unless your degree has given you professional registration in something that will essentially guarantee a job later on I would choose career. Having worked in IT for many years, I've seen many corporate places hire entry level people and 99% of the time they are under 25 rightly or wrongly... I assume it's the same in most places.
