Also a same-sexcouple here. Joint household income of approx 65k. Now own a house in the North East (near newcastle) after putting a deposit of £25k down. Beautiful part of the country.

Oasis. Good songwriters and a couple of very catchy choruses, but I can only listen to 2 or 3 songs before I start imagining a faint whiff of ashtray and stale booze

Probably depends what work you're doing. New coil packs? Air filter change? Probably fine. Changing calipers? installing coil-overs? Might be pushing it. Oil change? Head gasket? New clutch? Yeah you might be taking the piss there

Newcastle is the best city in the country imo. Small, vibrant, cracking nightlife, buzzing music scene, 20 mins to the sea in one direction, 20 mins in the other direction for some amazing countryside.

18 as a student into uni accommodation. Technically moved back home for about 3 months but that was around the time where I started spending more time at my BF's flat, which I moved into fully shortly afterwards. We now own a house together :)
