I have a friend from Albuquerque who has a dream life in Los Angeles. Mansion, riches everything you could ask for- and he talks shit about basically anywhere that isn't Los Angeles... but Dude is constantly offering to fly me to Albuquerque so we can go get Mexican food lol

I'm originally from NYC and I've lived in Los Angeles for 20 years
I'd say the big difference between the two is that in NYC we thought we were better than every other city in the country, whereas in California, we think we are our own country

I mean, that's the problem isn't it? We're out of space in general, which is why LAX is such a nightmare. In an ideal world somewhere closer to Hollywood or the east side or even another one in the valley.
