We are such a parcel centric society now with so many controls over our parcel delivery. If you aren't going to be in, you should have a safe space set up or change the delivery day to one you are in for. It's so simple, neighbours need not be bothered. Also having neighbours receive a parcel is a good way to never see that parcel again.
