It was a sad and vindicated feeling when my mother who would always call me a catastrophist said, "i was right". Very bittersweet.

What does everyone think about this Hegseth military meeting in Virginia?

It's a code "ruh roh". We are in unprecedented uncertainty. Get your bug-in and bug-out stuff up to standard. Never can tell what tomorrow will bring.

How am I supposed to find motivation to keep going when villainy thrives so prevalently?

I just posted this comment on r/collapsesupport and I see it being relevant here as well. "This is very well said, and I come from the acceptance camp. Something that I believe has helped me immensely is coming to terms with death. Think about death, look into Tibetan beliefs of death, and the discoveries we are unlocking on consciousness itself. It is uncomfortable to start this path of acceptance, but in the end, coming to terms with death will help you focus on the more important things in life. We are in a society that buries and ignores the fact that we are going to die. Even if the world were on a perfect path of abundance and safety, you would still die one day. Feel it, digest it, live with death beside you. Fear will always sneak in, and acceptance will still be overwhelmed from time to time. We are a society that doesn't speak about death and this pushes off the responsibility that comes with living. Don't be distracted by what they want you to be distracted by, because it is poison to the mind and spirit and they know it. You will start to see yourself working with more purpose enjoying and seeking a life with more meaning in the mundane and more critical thinking in sifting through the noise of the false narrative we have been fed. Programmed importance of such pointless and empty societal norms that kept us on the path to where we are. Expect more from our artists, our films, and if they don't live up to it, then we must remove them from the stage. Support those with something to say, and not just looking for a regurgitated profit. The voices of change are out there, and they are stifled by the status quo. If you don't find this in what you consume, learn to make it yourself. If those with public power don't live up to it, replace them. Make art, make poetry, write stories, and never stop learning. Find a job that helps others, be kind, be critical, and break out of the system mindset. In such destruction, you must find ways to create and express your inner turmoil through living with the knowledge that it is all coming to an end. Because it is."

Thank you! It is one of if not my favorite poems. A shame Shelley died so young. His wife did go on to of course give us Frankenstein out of her grief.

A capitalist society with a built-in belief system of entitlement where every peasant and wannabe believes they are kings and queens, superstars and celebrities. Berkeley in the world revolves around them and them alone and it is theirs to conquer and hold over others their success and blame them for their failures. Everyone for themselves and themselves alone. It is no fault of the population, it is the fault of the system. Collectivism was killed in the American mind by the narrative of the American dream. The self over the whole and it was all by design. Nothing brings division like an inflated ego. It's what they wanted for us all, to forget we need each other more than we need them and their false promises. When do we stop getting mad and start acting angry? The damage is done.

I feel that it does fall more into the latter like you said. I do consider some of the language pointing towards a tyrannical rule that may have been a factor.

Both. His great deeds and brutal rule brought control over all. Believing that it would last forgotten and his name and empire would never be forgotten, and yet time swallows all. The ego is erased and immortality is only futility. All things end and are forgotten in time.

Thank you so much! I just kinda stream of consciousness in these paintings. You'd be surprised how quickly I get them done. This is a digital painting using digital acrylic, pencil, and sprays. I still have to move the paint around like I'm using real brushwork. If they were all physical paintings I'd be buried in canvas.

I've been posting here for a long time and producing collapse-related art. You are projecting toxicity. What is shared and written is not toxic in any way. You seem very angry and outwardly expressing it toward me without any real need to do so. You are really up in arms over a simple discussion i wanted to bring up with my art. I hope you have a wonderful day.

You're right, the sun has zero effect. It has never shut down power grids, never disrupted biodiversity, and never correlated to anything. Just makes plants grow and gives you warmth. There is zero science currently going on studying the sun's nature as it pertains to anything other than whatever you say. It's a relief.

I agree on what the main focus needs to be, but i thought I'd bring it up in the discussion. I usually paint all the more tangible and immediate collapse related topics. Doesn't hurt to have a little solar fuckery fun.

These are occurring with small The underground cities fit the elites more conspiracy for sure. Conspiracy can be fun sometimes. I usually touch on the much more tangible side of collapse, but it's good to acknowledge the less tangible too. Have a good day, homie

We are very much due for a Carrington or larger event and yes, it is a fact that our magnetic field is weakening and the poles have been moving, nothing conspiratorial. Just do a quick look into it, it's very much scientifically observed and occurring with our poles moving and magnetic field weakening.

India and Pakistan Sliding Into Global Nuclear Catastrophe

Why the Right Fantasizes About Death and Destruction

Spirituality woke up in me. I've always held culture and intelligence highest. I'm very glad I found spirituality in life now, and I find it just as necessary as the others. We forgot this one as a society, and I'm not talking about religion at all. It isn't for me, but the McFuckery of existence isn't about religion for me at all. From born and raised irish/ Italian Catholic to staunch atheist to whatever it is i got going on now, I'm in for it. To me, it's about the mystery, consciousness, reality, and even some woo woo stuff. Reading and learning all I can from religions and philosophies without taking it as hard facts, but as building blocks for the self to determine and interpret. I see more and more science discovering more and more connection to the meta side of life, death, and everything in between. Science and magic are twins like Danny Devito and Arnold Schwarzenegger, different in so many ways, but damn they work together.

Okay class! It's time for a pop quiz on the societal collapse in the US. Please no meta glasses or neuralink please

I mostly look at the quote from Socrates as a way to just be open to anything and not claim certainty in any matter. It's these people in power that claim to know everything truly, no nothing, and the masses follow blindly.

I stand by Socrates, "the only thing I know is that I know nothing. " Now, not quite what you mean, but my belief is that nobody, and I mean nobody really knows anything at all, let alone or history. That's what Socrates believed of himself, and most likely allies to everyone. Wooweewoo stuff included. It's wild.

Enjoy it while it lasts, folks

I should do a screen recording and post it one of these days. The Manatee took the longest. The wave, i smashed a bunch of different blues on it from light to dark and then dragged it about with a blender. It was kinda luck that made it come together. I used a digital application, not a physical canvas. You can go back and correct with digital til it looks right.
