What's your theory on why Balkan people are so obsessed with Turkish soaps?

Main reason is high cost of production. Cost vs. Revenue Imbalance, Regulatory Advertising Limits (approximately 12 to 15 minutes of ads per hour of broadcast) , The Length-for-Ads Strategy (Longer episodes equal more cumulative ad time, which translates directly to greater revenue for the TV channel) the primary driving factor for the long episode length is approximately 80% due to economic and broadcast structure requirements (advertising/time slot maximization) and 20% due to the consequent need for content padding and the pressure of the ratings-dependent production model.

Is it true that the reason so many Turks have Greek features is because Historically, many Greeks who converted to Islam relocated to Turkey, assimilated into Ottoman culture, and many were exchanged for Christian Turks being sent to Christian countries?

Look at Greek people today and the ancient Greeks like Socrates, plato, Aristotle, archimed, oclid, heredotus, hippocrates etc. Do you really think that they are the same people today? Lol. Modern day Greeks are Christianized Turks, that's it.

Greece is the only Balkan country to be classified as a "full democracy". How do you feel about the state of democracy in your country?

At least you can protest in Greece, we have long lost that ability under Erdogan government. The police will kick and beat you if you protest and send you to jail under made up charges in Turkey.

"Willingness of EU Countries to Defend Greece/Turkey If They Were Under Military Attack" poll from 5 yerars ago. Do you think the answers would be different today?

Beach, when Turkey is accepted to the union, according to eu rules, it will have the most members in the parliament even more than Germany for its population. Do you think they will ever accept Turkey the biggest decision maker in EU parliament lol

As a Turkish citizen, I don't think that Turkey meets the criteria of the European Union. But I am sure that one of the reasons why the European Union does not accept Turkey is because it is an Islamic country, but of course this is not the only criterion.

I've heard people often debate how similar Greeks and Turks are culturally (including mentality, values, attitudes, behaviour, customs), with strong opinions ranging from one extreme to another. If we simplify and given two options only: similar/not similar, what do you think on this subject?
