What benefit package does your job offer ?

I have started a new role and I have got benefits that I have never had before in similar roles (education). Extra day’s holiday for birthday which I think is a nice touch. Death in service Great sickness policy I can add my husband to my life insurance for a small premium. I added critical illness for both of us for a small premium, which is brilliant as my husband is a contractor, although hope I never need to use it Healthcare although at a lower level than we already have so decided to not cancel existing policy. Cycle to work (wfh though) Discounts on all kinds of things like shopping, holidays, supermarkets etc

Discount portal Hybrid working - standard is being in office 60% of time Annual inflation pay rises guaranteed plus increment rises annually within your grade - pay is very transparent because it's public sector And beyond that, there's cultural stuff that makes it a good workplace. Flexible working requests are nearly always approved. Most colleagues I know have something, whether it's compressed hours, working different hours to account for the school pick up times, ability to go down to part-time or go up to full.

Grad job in engineering: 35 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, 10% annual bonus, 10% employer pension contribution rising to 15 with years of service, 4x death in service, cycle to work, private medical insurance including loss of pay coverage and all the tea and coffee I can drink.

I'm self employed. I get to work lots and sometimes be paid for it. I can take unlimited holiday but I don't get paid for it and if I take more than about a week my earnings permanently reduce because customers get annoyed. I do get to shag the boss's wife though.

45 days paid holiday a year. Starting at 5 weeks full paid sick leave a year, going up in stages til you're at 26 weeks after about 3 years, then half pay for the same time again. Various discounts. I think there's other stuff but I'm not sure what.

I work for my friends company so my perks are slightly different. Quarterly bonus (Usually about £1500) Yearly Bonus (Last year was £15k) When I joined the business I bought a top of the range PC and put it through expenses (its mine though) I'm the only member of staff in the UK but I've had company paid trips and dinners 40 days holiday + bank holidays + paid close down over xmas My job can be lonely sometimes as I have 1 meeting a week where the team discuss what we've been doing and what our plans are for the upcoming week but I do also like the fact that I'm just left to work and I can manage my own time, if I need to take some time off to get my kids or to go for a walk, there is no stress in doing so
