The drunkest I got in university was when we watched Top Gun and did the drinking game “every time a homoerotic moment happens you take a drink.” Way too many people have a personality that only revolves around the next event they can get drunk at. Alcohol doesn't synergize with every drug. I would never mix alcohol with psychedelics or mdma. And drugs alcohol does synergize well, kratom does better. It has all the upsides of alcohol + a little euphoria + no comedown.

You have to consider how much of the internet is children who can't drink alcohol. It's also becoming less common for teens and young adults to drink alcohol, go on dates / sleep overs, among other things. Plus add in app the people who have had legit reason to despise alcohol or are working on their mental health. But I've never seen anything I'd call extreme hatred, just minor discord. You'll find a true anti natalist or PETA vegan before you find a t totaler or someone who puts on full display how much weed / alcohol they consume before someone who doesn't. The most I see is people who think it's gross and a waste of time, or the opposite where it's great and a time sink.

No idea, but I rank anyone that's dependent/ addicted to these two as lesser humans. Growing up, my single rent would drink/smoke heavily every night after work. Then every morning too. And a travel flask. And the justifications. For decades we went paycheck to paycheck, scraping by, but somehow there was plenty of money for booze. Never did anything extracurricular (camping, music, art), no money for it. Had to wait till I was 24 Soni could save up and fund my first camping trip. People like this are ruled by / controlled by there vices. They're basically crack heads
