Gen X reading frustrations.

So like a lot of us heading into our 50s I have gotten head over heels into audiobooks. Well I was pleased as punch to see the Spotify offered premium audiobooks now. I read Kari Byron’s crash test girl. And Garrett Ryans excellent book about the day-to-day life of ancient Rome. What I didn’t expect was when I started Mr. Ryan’s second book, and was told I could read it because I’d read too much already. The only way to fix this before my credits reset was to pay them 12. 99 right now. I am a frustrated Gen Xer. All I wanna do is read my book. It’s not on Libby or any of the free services. Am I crazy being an older subscription person that it’s just getting more and more compartmentalized as we get older?
