Howmar 12 Refurbishment

I found a Howmar 12 in rough shape.
I've been cleaning and patching the hull and so far it looks like it'll be able to float.
Only problem is I'm missing a rudder, mast, boom, sails, and rigging.
It's my understanding that only 200 of these were built so I'm thinking I might not have a lot of luck finding these.
So, is it possible to outfit it with a mast/boom, sail, rigging, rudder that were not designed for it? Like a Frankenstein Howmar?

I have a brand new sail and a not-brand-new jib for my Howmar 12. Also a mast, boom, rudder, daggerboard, and all rigging. Need any pics?

Do you still have your Howmar 12? Looking for a new rudder and want to get as close to the original dimensions as possible.

I already took all the sailing rigging off and put a motor on the back, but thanks though.

Any luck on sails? I've spotted one for sale myself.

Sort of a stretch, but you might contact Dave Clark at Fulcrum Speedworks. The Rocket they manufacture is based on the molds for the Howmar Phantom (14 footer), so not identical, but damn close. Might be able to use their parts. But...missing all that stuff, I'd just get a different boat! Good luck.

Yes, it's possible and not uncommon with dinghys. You could go as far as rigging with homemade spars and sails. A new rudder cut from plywood. That sort of thing.
The issue you've got is that you need everything, and in that case a different boat is almost always the better way to go.
