I don’t own this one. It’s just in my possession temporarily. Was taken out of a widows home before she moves out. Her husband carried this in his pocket every day. Good thing he never had to use it. They are over priced at any price point in my opinion. Literally $20 would be $20 too much. But if you really want one, there’s probably a lot of pawn shops too proud to display it in their case. (Which says a lot because pawn shops will display anything lol). Just walk up to the counter and ask for the Saturday night special. Mileage may vary.

Consequently, American entrepreneurs started making cheap domestic pistols in California of all places. Thus began the Ring of Fire dynasty. Like the swamp castle in Monty Python's Holy Grail, the factory just keeps burning down and falling over, but they keep rebuilding. Every time one goes bust, there's another cousin or uncle or general manager ready to start up another company ready to cast zinc pistols.

A friend drove truck about 30 years ago and he got a Jennings (which was called something else back then, but I can't remember now). He figured on only using it, if someone was trying to enter, or already had entered his truck, so the 1 foot pattern we put in a piece of plywood with a 25 yard target stapled to it, at 10 feet was good enough for him. He didn't like the constant stove piping, though. That was a concern for him. His gun was brand new and I told him it was common for a new gun, especially one as cheap as his, to do that. I told him to get two or three boxes of cheap FMJ ammo, find a target range, and blast away. It just needed to get worn in. He later told me that worked for him. He sold the gun after he got out of the trucking biz.

Ahh, my J22 was tossed from a car during a chase, smashing the heel release and trapping the mag. Got it from evidence locker sales for super cheap and recut the mag release with a leatherman, then purchased a new mag at over half the cost of the pistol. She keeps you on your toes since some ammo will send a jet of fire into the trigger guard, and other times the extractor identifies as a firing pin.

Haha! Hilariouse! Yet could be true. I had bought one from a pawn shop and as soon as I loaded a round into it the pistol went off instantly, there was a deformation in the breech that would squeeze the rim and I think that was what was setting it off. I took it back to the pawn shop and asked if they test their guns before selling them and they said NO WHY I just said no reason but can I trade this back in for that Hipoint lol they did, the next week when I went back they told me to leave and never come back! They weren't there very long though.

Screw with the feed lips on the mag. I used to buy these and ravens and other “ring of fire” gats for $15 bucks at my LGSs back when. Got em running right and blasted sooo many old half shot boxes of .25 auto. I paid a shoebox of .25 ravens and $30 for a mac11 with the awful “Escape From New York” fake suppressor on it. Bad decisions all around.

Oh GOD no. I never made it through a mag without a stovepipe, fte, or the annoying “chop a casi in half on the receiver. Tried super light ammo, new recoil buffer thing, new mags. Nothing. Got so annoyed one day I traded it the the local gun shop/range for ammunition and a rando AR part I needed.
