How to re run fridge lines in modern production boats? Jenneau 349

How in the world do I re run fridge lines in a modern boat where they are deep behind the icebox with no way to reach in? I have been using a pulling string but it gets stuck on something that I cannot reach or see every single time. The interior cabinetry and fridge were clearly built and then installed into the boat, with no thought about how someone might repair it.

You might have luck with a fish wire, or by tapering the mousing line and coating it in something like detergent to lube it.

You may indeed need to disassemble cabinetry. In most modern production boats even that is actually impossible as the 'cabinetry' is attached to a glued-in fiberglass liner. Sometimes that means cutting and repairing the fiberglass. Or putting an 'access panel' behind the stove or something that'll cover up most of the surgery. But before you do that: I'd use an endoscope to see what you're hanging up on with a pull string. Then figure out how to pull it differently. Very common during pulling stuff through boats you need a kindof 'conehead' on the nose of the stuff being pulled to center it in small holes. I'd wager a wild guess that the fridge would have been installed during commissioning, not construction. (But not sure) - if so it's possible - you just haven't tried enough times and said enough bad words to figure it out yet.

Cone head is a good idea- I haven’t tried that yet. I’ll have to find something that will work. Any suggestions?
