Do you think we’ll see a rise in people going to Northern Ireland to give birth, in order to secure an EU passport for their child?

Under the GFA terms of the 26th amendment to the Irish constitution, if you are born in Northern Ireland and either of your parents are British or Irish, you are entitled to apply for an Irish passport.
You can also just show up to any hospital with a maternity unit and they will deliver your baby.
So I could imagine a little cottage industry of people visiting Northern Ireland around the due date in order to have their child get an Irish passport. If you’re able to do it, it’s such a no brainer to give your child a bunch of options they wouldn’t have otherwise.
