Is Costco worth it in the UK for an individual?

I know Costco is often praised on Reddit for being cheap, but I'd like to know from those who go, does it actually add up especially for just one person in food savings from the individual membership? I do drive so I expect i'd be saving something on fuel but my mileage is not huge. Is food that much cheaper than the likes of Aldi/Lidl where I shop currently? Or is it a false economy?
My usual shopping cost is £30-£50 per week at Lidl/Tesco.
