Why is the Mongolian special vehicle not a thing?

I know I am way late on this but I just saw the Mongolian special episode and I cannot find where that kit car is frigging available. Has it become a thing since this episode aired? If it hasn't, I would be STUNNED that no one has thrown money at it.

The engineers at Top Gear designed it

I figured it was Special made. Just like a lot of there one offs. Like Clarkson's PBR in the special Seaman. I'm sure you could get something like that chassis somewhere. It's very similar to that hill climb time trial car that was featured early on in "New" Top Gear. Hammond went to some guys house who made that car in his kitchen and then destroyed his house to get it out. So I'm sure the chassis would be reasonably easy to have made. I cannot see it being allowed on any roads in the civilised world.
