What forums are still active?

I've been thinking about the “dead forum” phenomenon, but just recently I've found monero.forum and it's surprisingly active with good tech talk and general discussion. It's definitely more of a forum style than Discord or Reddit can get. Worth checking out if you miss that style of interaction.

From all the forums I've visited, k i w i f a r m s is the probably the only one that's still growing. Don't let its reputation intimidate you, it isn't any more a swatting website than 4chan is a hacking website.

For those who don't know, the forum has a strict "look but don't touch" rule which prohibits even the mildest trolling, meaning pretty much every story you hear about swatting is lolcows or biased journalists blaming the action of anonymous third parties on an easy target.

And if you don't like observing and discussing lolcows and politics, there are also various subforums for games, literature and television etc.

Most those forums probably support RSS feeds. I prefer slower forums because with 1000+ daily posts the quality is usually kind of shit. So add them all to an RSS reader you can see a lot of posts all in one place but they’re typically higher quality. That’s what I do anyways.
