I was living in Indiana, it was Reggie Miller for me.

Magic in particular but the Showtime Lakers in general.

Jordan because I’m from Chicago. But I really thought a lot of Hakeem. The guy was too smooth with it.

Same. Most of us in my area were rooting for the Bulls during the 3-peat era.

Cavs fan, so I hated MJ and especially the Bad Boys.  Mark Price, Brad Daugherty, Hot Rod Williams- we didn't have any superstars til Lebron

Larry Legend! Dude talked mad shit and backed it up on the court. The “who’s coming in 2nd?” before the 1986 3-point contest was legit greatness…and he won it. Had he not messed up his back shoveling his mom’s driveway, he probably has a better late career.

Larry Legend was a low key savage. He used to give Jordan, Barkley, Magic, etc. shit if they played and had another white guy guarding him. He’d say it was disrespectful.

Jordan and Dominique Wilkins. I couldn’t wait to watch them play ( Lifetime Sixers fan here )

Reggie Miller. He was the 90s Steph Curry, but legendary trash talker also. I’m a Pacers fan so I know a lot of teams hated him but he was ours, stayed here his whole career. Had the brawl in Detroit not derailed that team, he might have a ring. Unfortunately it did and the fallout was bad.

Larry Bird was my hero. I rewatched various VHS tapes of Larry over and over and over again. So happy I have memories of the 1986 Title season

Rockets by birth, so I was a big fan of Olajuwon. But was also a fan of Barkley. It's great to hear he's actually really cool and the exact opposite of Jordan.

My first NBA game ever was the Lakers Vs Bulls playoffs. My parents went shopping and left me alone in front of the TV for a bit. Before heading out my dad told me to keep an eye on #32 on the Lakers. "His name is Magic Johnson" he told me, "He's the best." I remember doing just that. I also remember my dad asking me later what I thought and telling him some version of "He was cool. But that other guy. Michael Jordan. He destroyed everyone." MJ's Bulls have been my GOAT ever since
