Anyone Else Play Assassin In Highschool?

In Chicago (and I suspect nationwide) there is a huge freakout going on for highschool kids plays assassin with water guns, causing conceal carry people to pull real guns, police getting called, and car wrecks. I'm sitting on my couch "hey I'm pretty sure we all did this in highschool and college". WTF society?

Nope, I hadn't even heard of that game until I was in college. We talked about getting a game together for my dorm floor but it never happened (I guess no one wanted to take the initiative and run the thing). If we had it would have been Nerf and not water (no one wanted to accidentally squirt water on someone's computer or something like that). A few years after I graduated I know they sometimes had games of Humans vs Zombies on campus and I was a little sad I missed that.

Southern California, we absolutely played it. We had some folks that wanted to take it further with paintball guns, but we kept to water guns. It was a rush. Not surprised with mindsets nowadays that people aren't responding as well .

Not in high school, but we played in college. We didn't use water guns. We threw balled-up socks at each other. Mine were clean. Hopefully everyone else's were, too.

Yeah, sort of. We just called it playing with water guns tho. No press releases, no public freakouts. Ours were bright colored and obviously toys, and there weren't many of us with real guns then. I get that the world has changed and I'm on board for most of it, but some of it can still make me sad a little right?

Ontario, Canada here. We played this! For years, and once over summer vacation which was challenging as fuck. We used cards instead of anything weapon like. Though we did do a one day game where we used Nerf guns. It was all fun and games until some whinging bitch got shot in the eye.
