Oh yeah.. we get a kick out of the Jesus commercials. The foot washing one is particularly weird. They're paid for by some oddball religious conservative group. FWIW we also see Ketamine therapy ads here too. I think they would only be shown in states where it's legal for doctors to administer it as therapy.

How are you an atheist Jew? All of the guilt, none of the God? :) I'm agnostic. Purpose in life would be great, but if there's no God then I don't have to worry about some of the black marks on my record! Mom's family was Jewish, gave it up after the Nazis killed all but 2 of the family.

Culturally, I was raised Jewish, bar mitzvah'd, absorbed a little Yiddish from my grandparents, and I get obviously accosted by Lubbovichers if I'm in the right neighborhood in Los Angeles. I don't *believe* in any of it, but I'm as 'Jewish' as I am 'Polish' and 'Russian'. It's my cultural/ethnic heritage.

Not getting ads, but I've seriously considered this. I suffered a traumatic brain injury about 8 years ago that still has some lingering effects, and I'm wondering if a "K-Hole" brain reset might be helpful. About 20 years ago, I took a pretty heroic psilocybin trip, and it helped my mental state *immensely.*

I had a pretty intense depressive episode last year, and ketamine changed my fucking life. My ONLY regret is not trying it sooner. Now I'm weaning off of my ineffective antidepressants that haven't been doing shit for years and I finally feel like myself again.

While there is a lot of talk about the research for longer term microdosing of psilocybin, the found that a large enough dose to trip really helped end of life depression. Some ego death and letting go can be immensely useful when the brown gets tied up

It is mostly illegal (called Special K) but now is legal with a prescription. It works on depression, PTSD, etc. Usually you go to a clinic where they administer it and you go a few times. Good stuff - resets the brain.
