Who should be the owner? Shared Folders Active Directory

This has been answered by others, but I want to point out possible consequences of Domain Users being the owner. An owner is allowed change the permissions on the folder and basically bootstrap themselves up to full control no matter what control they had. All users are in the domain users group, so literally anyone in the domain can grant themselves permission to those folders. I would also go a step further and heavily avoid granting Full Control to anyone as well as that allows users to change the permissions. I've had issues where someone with Full Control that did not understand NTFS permissions denied all users or some other broad group and inadvertently denied their own access while also denying all admins and accounts required for backup systems. In the worst cases, I've had to forcibly take ownership of folders and reset permissions recursively to get things back in order. In general, would recommend some limited admin set as owner, use groups for access, and try not to grant anything above "Modify" if possible. Modify still lets them read/write/create/delete folders and files, but does not allow them to mess with permissions directly.
