🪞 ukraine has stalemated russia and is now bleeding their oil refineries until more weapons come in from the west. once they get the f16 pilots trained in a few months they'll be able to launch western precision missiles (which the west produces on an industrial scale unlike shells) that they couldn't safely do in migs with poor BVR capabilities. russia has no such new capabilities coming. the war is about to get a lot more interesting

Piracy was rapidly declining in Russia before the war thanks to services like Steam and Spotify that were more convenient with prices adjusted to local purchasing power. A lot of famous piracy groups ceased to exist, and their overall number was reduced, but there was a resurgence after the country's banking system was sanctioned by the US and western companies pulled out.
