I’m not a big bullpup guy but some are cool. The VHS 2 is my favorite.

So hot.

this.. cant wait till this shit starts getting produced.
BeenisHat@reddit
I'm sure it's gonna be stupid expensive, but I really like the idea. Even if the polymer ammo doesn't catch on, one of these in .277 Sig Fury or 6.5 Creedmoor just sounds cool as hell.
wlogan0402@reddit
i dont think theyre gonna produce it

I'm hoping they actually do come out with the civilian model someday. I'm sure it's going to be a low production, expensive rifle unless some other branch or country adopts it. Beretta was also mentioned as a manufacturing partner, which I'm assuming died when the rifle didn't grease the right general's palms.

The Steyer Aug and the FN PS90 are my all time favorite bullpups.
The AUG for its space age design and its switchable barrels.
The PS90 for it's magazine capacity, quirky appearance and that 5.7x28 round.

EvilWhiteVanMan@reddit
As a fellow lefty the X95 is actually fairly comfortable to shoot left handed in right handed configuration. So far even that I own one and didn't convert it to left handed yet (although I will once I find a left handed bolt for it). I believe the VHS-2 is pretty good for that as well.
KingKapow21@reddit (OP)
Fair. My dad is a lefty but I’m a righty

I like the bull pup conversion kit for the highpoint carbine. Costs more than the rifle, but it's cool.

Dane__55@reddit
Really? I didn’t even get to shoot ours, my dad shot a few rounds before it stopped feeding, then I tried it and I couldn’t get it to feed or fire either, I knew how to use it, but I was not sure what the problem was. It was brand new too, which is why I am confused.
We traded it for a CZ Scorpion 3+ Pistol, that thing is awesome.
Schmeevis@reddit
I've honestly never had a jam/feed issue with them, even with mini-shells.
Dane__55@reddit
Huh, that’s interesting.
Schmeevis@reddit
What I've told folks to do is take it slow and walk through the process: bang, pull back 'til it stops, push forward til it stops, bang. Once that process was understood, everyone who shoots it for the first time has no issues. The vertical grip helped too. Its a fun little shotgun.

I own the Tavor SAR, X95, Steyr AUG (40th Anniversary), FS2000, Hellion (I really hate that name), RDB, and RFB.
My favorite is the FS2000. It's such an interesting looking rifle, the forward feeding shoot for spent casings is really cool, and it has a military pedigree along with being super iconic thanks to being featured in so many video games.
Chapped_Assets@reddit
Been searching forever for a non railed fore-end 🤦♂️

The rounded one is the one you're looking for? Yeah, that would definitely be challenging to source.
Mine is the tactical with the rounded handguard, I would love to have the original with the crazy looking scope housing.

Have one in 5.56 and now I need its big brother in 7.62. I’m not a tactically savvy guy, so I can’t testify to its highspeedlowdragness but I can say the difference compared to garden variety at-15 platform is a lot of fun
SotRekkr@reddit
I was in the army for 6 years as well as having ARs in the civilian world so I was ready for something different. I picked up my x95 6 years ago in 556. One of my favorite guns to shoot.
Pariah6-4@reddit
Never shot a bullpup, but the A3 Tactical Triad Chassis system looks really intriguing but I hate how it requires a mostly stripped lower to be installed along with a buffer-less upper. Having it eat a lower, while it makes sense for legal reasons (does not meet NFA OAL requirements with a 16” barrel) I think it over complicates functionality. Being able to just drop on a PSA JAKL upper once the chassis/lower is setup is super sick though.
DugBuck@reddit
I have to go with the True Velocity RM277.

Probably the GROT if it were a reality in the US, because it could be converted into a conventional rifle.
