All political parties do it. Clear attempt to make local politics seem interesting but I find it pretty offensive they all seem to think voters won’t see past it for what it is, election material.
It is offensive but most of the electorate are idiots. The tories have particular form for this of late I mean, why use a toxic brand when you don't have to? A lot of it is template stuff too, cynical.
Sign of a failing party brand. Labour did this a lot during the Corbyn years. Labour will get in, fuck things up in their own unique way and the cycle will continue. The electorate have terrible short-term memories. All of them are a bunch of useless cunts, every party, and I say this as someone who spent 13 years working in politics. It’s so disheartening to see how shit it all is.

The last Labour government did pretty well - longest period of economic growth since Victorian times; consistently low inflation; increased standard of living; reduced poverty; vastly improved schools and NHS; vastly reduced waiting lists; UK had become well respected abroad; stable political environment, did I miss anything?

It's just harder now. The foundations for Blair to build on in 97 were much stronger than what Starmer will be bequeathed by over a decade of the Tories running the country into the ground.
Agree with everything you say about the last Labour government - most positive period for the country in my (almost 50yrs) lifetime. But inequality is so much wider now, it's a much bigger job to turnaround.

All major parties do it to some extent, depending on their strategy, financing and popularity. In the Corbyn years some Labour candidates dropped the Labour colours/logo in Northern areas in some of their material. All political parties are untrustworthy when it comes to this. Sure, it might seem like the Cons are doing it more now, and maybe in MK it’s only them, but they all do it.
You CVUNTS don’t remember how bad a labour government is. My business is going to pay zero corporation tax under them as we will swap most jobs to cash. Last year the government got nearly 100k most members of the FSB are planning in the same. Best thing that may come from them are lefties in the nhs working harder

You can look online at your tactical votes, for example if you agree that the tories are not right, you can look at who to vote for to ensure you have the best chance of beating them, that is mostly labour but in some areas Libdem.
There is no need for a tactical vote this time round. Tories have definitely lost. Labour have basically definitely won, but their policies are pretty right-winged too now, so it's probably a good idea if they don't have too a strong majority.
Uhhhhhh, for that to work we would need to change how the elections run. First Past the Post voting will naturally lead to shit and shit lite two party systems.
What are we meant to do then, we can't change enough people's mind through reddit to vote 3rd party to make it worth it in the three\* constituancies for the next election. We vote 3rd party we likely end up with Tories again since the right seems more unified then the left.
I personaly, if we had a Proportianal Representation system in place would place my vote for Green since that is the party that lines up with my views the most. However, since this is FPTP and my vote is effectively wasted when I vote green, I can't do that - thus I effectively *have* to vote labour since I really don't want tories back in power.
To say "Don't vote labour either" shows either a complete lack of understanding of the political landscape accross the constituancies, which is what I am hoping it is, or slight hints of malace trying to split the "left" accross the political parties that exist around them.
Do I want either in power? No. Does our political landscape force it to be that way? Unfortunatly.

How Rishi Sunaks plan to make him and his friends richer is strengthening our economy…..it doesn’t. The Tories delivered Brexit and now we are all poorer with less rights than before. They have done nothing that scratches the surface of that financial hit. And then Liz Truss made us all poorer again.
