Lots of good info, and Brett doesn’t mince words about Taurus’ past and how he’s shaping the company’s future.

S&B is MILES ahead of anyone else - automated QC on every single round using AI, vertically integrated, etc - and Remmington is just fucking tragic in how bad their equipment is compared to say Starline, which is QC'ing spot checks w manual feeler gauges.
Wish someone was going around to gun companies + putting up and interpreting REAL info - from the Shareholder to the training on the factory floor. Everyone's focused on NPD but as the market stagnates + CNC + patents expiring and the rise of BRICS me-toos, it'll be the companies that can promise quality at low price (SIG, Tisas, CANIK come to mind) that have a lot to gain by coming clean about what they're doing, and what they aren't.
Upswing at the moment but that's based on reputation they recovered over the last few years so they could be on the downswing and we won't know till 2025. Still, this is a good deal and I'm a sucker for revolvers I'll shoot once and then toss in the safe.
I have this gun. I know it ain't much but I have \~500 rounds through it (50/50 38spl & 357mag) without a single issue.
I'd just like to share that Buffalo Bore 125gr chronographs at an average of 1,770fps out of this thing for 870ft/lbs. of energy. That's starting to approach .30 Carbine levels of muzzle energy *out of a handgun.* 8 shots of that ain't nothin' to sneeze at.
I shot my Taurus Raging Hunter 6.75" 460 S & W I bought from Midway for the first time the other day using 325 gr HSM Bear Load ammo.
I still have my fingers and my face so far, so I'd say Taurus is gtg for revolvers. Their raging hunter line actually won best revolver of the year a couple years ago I believe.
From what I've researched, their revolvers are hand assembled as well.
