I'm planning a three-day hike in a few months. What are your top recommendations for anti-chafing walking socks or the best brands to consider?

I've done a good few hikes and found that Smartwool are by far my favourite, but merino wool generally is a hill I'd die on. Breatheable, moisture-wicking, and quick drying. I also wear Injinji to help prevent chafing between my toes. Totally understand if the toesocks are a little too left field though. **Equally as important** \- trim your toenails before your hike. I did a multiday once and there was a full day of steep downhill. My feet moving forward in my socks pulled a slightly long nail back into the nailbed and I lost the nail. Very, very uncomfortable.
