Fiction books by Franklin Horton

If you haven't come across these books, I highly recommend them. I have yet to find a Post-apocalyptic author that I enjoy more. (Will gladly take recommendations). Horton does a great job of mixing fiction, with prepper info, but I think he is even better at psychology. He really delves into what it was/is like to have to deal with people who don't get it yet. The dangers of being with people who can't accept what is going on, and how some people refuse to change and die because of it.

Horton also hammers home one of the most valuable lessons I have learned about prepping, which is "Some people's prepping plan, is just to steal from those who have prepared." You can't keep what you can't protect. I recommend starting with "The Borrowed World" which is about a prepper who is away from home when things go to shit. The Locker Nine series is good as well as the Mad Mick series. I've read them all.

I'm reading "One Second After" now, but if anyone knows of anything like the Horton stuff I would appreciate it. I've tried getting into some others, but can't get past the cliche, "Send them back to Allah" mentality, I find in some of them.
