Is it humanly possible to make yourself pass out without any items?

In case I get captured or something during WWIII, I want to know if that's possible in case I get tortured.

(Not that I'm actually going to try this at this moment lol. Only in that situation.)

You can put your head under your knees, hyperventilate for a minute, then pick your head back up and compress your chest and pass out for like 20 seconds (or maybe die). Its not a very useful skill but kids will be kids.

Myself and 3 friends did this once. I was out for like 10 seconds, and it felt like 500 years of coasting through the cosmos. So crazy.

But even crazier is that my friend Amber was out for like 5 freaking minutes and during that time we all thought we killed our friend.

You can by hyperventilating yourself then cutting off blood to the head. You'll pass out but wake up real quick.

It has been proved that \~90% of people pass out if they do 3 things in sequence: hyperventilating in the squatting position, standing up quickly and the Valsalva maneuver. And yes, this trick was used during WW1 to avoid the involuntary mobilization. Because the person doing it not only falls down suddenly but often experiences so called myoclonic jerks what can be easy confused with an epileptic seizure. But it's unsuitable for a case of getting tortured because the mean unconscious time is \~10 s (max 40 s). Any method to make yourself unconscious for longer time will kill you with 90% probability and have desired effect with 10% only.

If you decide to test it for yourself make sure you are standing on a really soft and large area like a mat, sand or grass. You will fall like a dead body and in an unpredictable direction. Injury from the fall is the main danger of this trick.

I did it once and i still hate thinking about it i tried it and i didnt think it worked but then i felt a sharp pain in my head, i faceplanted on the floor and thought i almost died, i couldnt hear shit and didnt remember what happend😀🤟🏼

I've been able to go unconscious at will im not sure how but I've been trying to wake myself up after and I've been able to wake myself up with in 10 seconds

Yeah passing out is nothing like the movies my dude, if you pass out it's either for a short period of time like 10 seconds (not an exact time) or you have some sort of brain damage and it'll likely last days if not longer up to plausibly putting you into a coma

Honestly mate there's a good chance you will still be aware but brain damaged enough to be non-vocal and paralysed. Imagine the hell of being unable to eat, drink, move, speak. Better to just face your hypothetical captors, lad.
