Where to learn more about systems for a 172?

I’m a CFI who feels lacking on airframe knowledge, specifically everything sitting inside the cowling, but want to learn more about each part of the aircraft. The POH is lacking in detail, PHAK is generic, I’ve read my engine manual, what other resources can I use to learn? Knew enough to pass my checkride, but need to take a step forward.

If you have the time between Flights, go to maintenance hangars and make friends with the Aircraft Techs there. Bring them coffees, doughnuts and pizza and you'll make friends for life. Hang around them and the Aircrafts they're working on and you'll learn about a lot more than just C172s.
