What has changed for you?

Curious to know what has changed for you now that we've all hit the age where we're halfway done with life? Mainly asking from the high school / very early 20's era of our lives as the benchmark up until today. Has any belief systems changed between then and now? Political stance? Thoughts on society? Thoughts on economy? Any differences between being a parent or possibly grandparent? I think for me, my faith has strengthened, my ideas that you can save people or save the world have dissolved, and the reality of life has slowed down my fervor in hustling and instead just stay at an even steady daily pace. Politically I was on the right side of the partisan isle in the 90s but these days I'm balanced center and willing to give in to find a happy medium. Also as a parent and also having aging parents I realized as much as I want to rescue them from the hardships of life, unfortunately I can't. Life is life and slowing down and sort of accepting what you can has been great for my wife and I lately. We have spent more time as a family and just getting that quality time in. Curious as to how things are for some of you out there. Thanks in advance for the discussions and contributions!
