ULPT: Paper due at 11:59? Nowhere close to being done? Submit a paper you've done for another class and then use the time between then and when your professor emails you saying, "Oops! Looks like you submitted the wrong paper" to work on your actual paper

This is 6 years old, but I did this a couple times in both undergrad and grad school. One time when I did it I got an A on the paper and did not have to do the actual one. It was end of semester and the professor had graded NOTHING. I think because she had 100 people to grade like 10 things for each person she just breezed on through and didn't actually pay attention. I figured I'd just write it when I got an email from her because it would have given me a day and a half but then I got a blackboard notification that it was graded.

Instead of this, I’ve uploaded a file with the shareable link to the Google drive document.
I’m still able to work on the actual document after the deadline, and just have to finish it before the teacher sees it in the morning.
I’ve only done this in high school though.

Oh man this reminds me of college. Quick story, I completely blanked on the due date for a mid-term paper. Not only had I not finished, I hadn't even started yet! I showed up to class and made up an excuse about helping a suicidal friend (that was true, but was not the reason I didn't do the paper) and thus not being able to get my final draft all polished up in time and that I would really appreciate having til the next morning to clean it up. My professor agreed I wrote all night and I ended up setting the curve with my essay.. Decades later and I still have trouble with organization. Get your act together when you're young or it'll never happen.

Or the professor says tough shit you’re an idiot and you get a zero.

Just go on this website and upload the file, download the corrupted version, and send it to the prof
