F/T RV’er Question

Greetings, big rigs. My wife and I are full-time RV’ers (40ft Motorhome) and are currently having trouble finding a place to stay for the night between Lexington, VA & Charleston, WV. Can we crash for the night at a Love’s? I don’t want to take a spot from one of you all, but also want to be in a safe place with spot to take the dog and help, if needed.

You have just as much right to a parking spot as anyone else does. Just make sure you are with in your spot, and don't open up the slide to take 2 spots.

Thanks for the heads up. Just Googled and it looks like Beckley is closed for a major demo/renovation. Definitely adding it to the list though.

Pretty sure the parking lot and fuel is open. The only thing closed is the building with the restaurants and gift shop. But honestly, your trip is under 200 miles. Just schedule it so you are leaving early in the morning and not having to find parking in the middle of the night.

If you can't trust Google. Trust trucker path. It's like the Google for truckers. You can see if any of the truck stops are full in your area. How many are around. How many spots they have. What restaurants they have. It also shows rest areas that have dumping and rv parking to. Plus, if you wanna pay for the premium subscription. It'll give you truck routes and predictions. I use it all the time when I wanna find out where to shut down. Also yes after 4 pm it's really really hard to find parking.
