2024 Chevy Trax | Much Better, Assuming it's Reliable [Savagegeese]

"Yes, this car is an econobox, doesn't have the horsepower of your big V8 engines, and the interior isn't filled with big puffy seats and fake wood trim, but it gets good gas mileage and you can beat the crap out of it for 100k miles and it still runs." GM (and Ford) tried to compete by putting out econobox cars of their own, but they were unreliable crap. They never understood that you can cheap out on interiors and creature comforts, but not on the drive train, and that people will hold onto a Toyota or Honda for decades precisely because the thing just won't die. Not gonna lie...I was thinking of getting a cheap economy car now that my commute is twice as long as before, and I checked out the new Buick Envista. According to the reviews I've seen, it's nice inside, looks good, and is decent for what it is, but a 3-banger built by GM? I'd rather buy a used Yaris.
