Primark, I never bother investing heavily in underwear since no-one sees them and they only get worn out anyway. I'll get a 5 pack of wool socks from Primark for a couple of quid and wear them out, if I get a year out of them then it's worth it.

One time, I had a voucher and bought £50 of underwear from the equivalent of Primark. I was as happy as Larry until all the elastic went at the same time. Whole thing was a looming apocalypse. Stagger your undie buying , folks.

I’ve done my own research on this. Found Sainsbury’s (Tu), trunks are by far the most comfortable and give great support. I suffered a strangulated testicle a couple of years ago, highly likely caused by ill fitting grundy’s. Not had any drama since trialing a lot of brands, expensive and cheaper, and settling on these. Pick up some socks while I’m there.

I buy socks and underwear for my partner from Sports Direct and usually get them through the sales. He’s picky with boxers and he’s 6’3” and 3XL and wears 12+ socks and it’s usually hard finding anything his size for a good price that’s of good quality. Bought him Lee Cooper boxers and Kangol socks from there a couple of months ago and he’s so happy with it

For socks: go expensive. Buy light trekking socks from outdoor stores. Bridgedale are a UK brand that'll cost around £20 a pair. They will last years and you have comfortable feet every day. It's a small price for a better life.

This really depends on your foot size, I'm 11-11.5 and ruin socks, 7-11 are too tight, 9+ are too loose. Cheap sport direct socks for work then next or M&S ones for the rest of the time

I buy mine on Amazon using Xmas vouchers. Innersy boxers and danish endurance socks - both are really comfortable and durable. The socks have stopped my feet sweating as much and the boxers feel supportive (I’ve got an enlarged testicle so unsupportive underwear often doesn’t feel right).

If you've got chunky legs buy them from Oddballs. Oddballs started off marketing for rugby players so they will deal with big thighs. Also, the patterns are pretty cool as well, they do socks as well

Try getting ankle socks. The ones I get are 'Closemate mens trainer ankle socks' from Amazon. They are comfy and last a long time. The last pants I bought were from Asda George and they are as good as M&S ones I've had previously.

For a long time I’ve always got them from Primark but last year we were away in Cornwall and I’d not brought enough underwear and socks and ended up buying some from Asda and they’ve been the best and comfiest I’ve ever owned

I mostly wear bamboo socks which I either get online or in TKmaxx. Underwear, I prefer waistband free hipster style ones. Primark/Tesco/Sainsbury's tend to be my go to places.
