The diversity and genuine friendliness of the people. The huge stretches of untouched wilds. I grew up 25 miles from Boston, we had town conservation land that would be a national park in much of Europe.

Ah that's cool. My boyfriend is from Boston, so I plan to move there some day in the future. :)

My British students were always surprised at just how “wild” the land got even so close to the city

Well I haven't seen Boston yet. But from the states I have been to I have always liked how open and big and spacious areas are in the US, compared to here in the UK.

I could’ve sworn I answered this question two days ago. I like the scenery because a lot of states have different scenery and I like the fact that it’s diverse.

-Untouched natural beauty -convenience driven culture -overall friendliness of a large majority of people -live and let live attitudes that a lot (if not all) people have here -Individualism (when it doesn’t veer into negative territory)

Well it wasn't me who posted it yesterday as I stated in another reply, I only just joined the sub-reddit today. Ps: I also like the US flag.

The diversity. I love just my little block in a suburb where there are at least a dozen cultures & languages. Growing up in Chicago, I was/am able to say hello, how are you, good bye, some curse words in at least a dozen languages from just your friends. Knowing you can choose from over 100 different countries cuisine every day. Landing in an airport in a major city of US and thinking this is what heaven must look like: all of this variety, shapes, sizes, hair colors, languages.

Creativity. There’s a lot to criticize us for, but out of a lot of the chaos some cool things do happen.

100%. The fact that we have some national parks that are bigger than some european nations is astounding.

The diversity in geography, very few countries on this planet are as diverse in terms of landscape, nature, etc…

Freedom of speech and the absolute freedom to move around the country. I can get in my car in Cincinnati and drive 2000 miles to California without a passport and the people still speak my language and accept the same legal tender. And don't forget the national parks...
