Any cinema goers able to give a rough estimate for how long Dune 2 will be in cinemas?

I'll only be able to see it whilst being functional either the first weekend (unlikely as I've not booked tickets anyway), or the 4th weekend it's out (30th March), but don't really want to miss it, so if it's not likely to stick around that long I'll have to see it whilst knackered.

I saw it Sunday, 25 February, in an early release thing "for the fans." I really enjoyed the film and hope it does well. In fact, I found this thread because I'm trying to plan a second viewing later in March and hope it's still in theaters in late March. I would encourage everyone to go see it so you don't regret it later like I regret not seeing Bladerunner 2049 in theaters!

My local cinema has a listing for 18:00 and says it ends at 21:06. Giving that they have roughly 25 minutes of adverts before the movie, you're looking at around 2 hours 40 minutes, give or take.

I'd say there's a 99% chance it will still be showing on the 30th. Only two biggish films coming out after it in March, the new Ghostbusters (the last one didn't do too great so doubt this one will have much pulling power) and Godzilla x Kong. I see you commented which cinema you'll be going to and it's got a lot of screens. I'd expect Dune to be holding at least one of those unless it's a monumental flop, which is doubtful. And if it is a monumental flop, you might want to wait until it's out on physical/streaming anyway!

It will be in cinemas for a month easily, whether it'll still have decent times depends on how big your local cinema is and how many screens they have. If it's big then they'll definitely still have it plaing all day in a screen.

I won't be going locally, will be going to Sheffield Light cinema with my Dad. I'd hoped it would be out for a while, but my sister has said a lot of things haven't lasted long recently. Might take a day off tbh

The Sheffield Light has nine screens so I don't see why it wouldn't still be playing it after a month, your sister is right for smaller films but a massive film like Dune will have staying power
