What's with the weird competition men in the UK have with eating the spiciest curry possible when at a work do or out with friends?

It's funny when someone can't handle it, maybe you should live a little and dare to do something a little silly once in a while, no need to be so uptight and boring. Not quite sure why men liking curry triggers you soo much to make a post but 1) Curry is delicious 2) people mostly like the heat, it's fun and 3) sometimes having a personal obstacle to overcome is something that's worth doing, again that's called living and it isn't hurting anyone (well maybe the people eating it if they're fannies about the heat but that's on them) I go for the hottest curry possible because it doesn't phase me that much, it's fun, I find curry delicious and I'm on a quest to find something that I truly struggle to finish. Plz don't hate me because I'm a man that likes a hot curry, I'm not judging you for being a women that probably thinks rice pudding is too spicy, if you don't like spicy food then you likely won't get it.
