For those worried about Ai advancement: We bought some time

I've already had a couple of heated reddit debates that felt like I was talking to an AI. On a separate account in an off topic sub I saw someone responded to a comment with something tangentially related to the reply, that being them asking if they believed the ancient Israelites originated from some other tribe. I couldn't find were that theory was coming from or why you would ever think that, it was a tribe the Israelites were known to war with and neither of them were the first people in the area whichever way you look at it by a long shot. And they just weren't accepting any information I was telling them. The conversation kept going in circles and they didn't even want to source the info. Not the first time this sort of thing has happened, but they all had that flow. If they were a real person I don't know what their deal was, though I do see people say equally baseless things with full confidence on twitter too. Really wouldn't surprise me because there's no reason for them to believe what they're saying, they ignore what I'm trying to tell them, and they can't source information because they can only make things up.
