The 2nd facelift (MY2016-MY2021) LX570 is my favorite by far, especially because of [how good the interior looks.](https://hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod/images/2021-lexus-lx-mmp-3-1597704317.jpg) In fact, I'd take a 2021 LX570 over the new LX600.
> Not really a fan of the newest generation of Lexus interior design.
Good news they're addressing this in the upcoming LX refresh around the end of the year.

Do you have a source for this? Because I haven't seen or heard anything.
[Here's](https://twitter.com/tatsu_kai_MODE/status/1740368041672921282) a source from Japan regarding the 300-series undergoing an MMC. A very reputable user also [confirmed](https://np.reddit.com/r/4Runner/comments/149epvm/2024_death_of_the_4runner_badge/kcgg89m/) that the MMC is coming this year. I've also heard it locally from a manager at the showroom. These MMC's (including the Tundra's) are being accelerated 1 year from when they were supposed to come out due to mixed reception.
It was unable to translate the Japanese to English, so I couldn't read it.
Even if this info is accurate, what about all the other new Lexus interiors that just recently came out? The NX, RX, TX, GX, etc. They all have the same overall design. If the LX is getting a refresh, including the interior, then are they also going to apply that to their *whole* lineup??
I mean the LX's interior design is unique compared to the rest of the recently re-designed Lexus models. But in general Lexus is heading towards something like the LF-ZC and ZL concepts as far as interior design goes. I'm interested to see what the follow-up to the Lexus LS and LC look like though. Those interiors are gorgeous.
Going back to the LX 570, I absolutely loved the hunk of wood across the dash. I think the dash and center console area were the highlights of the interior for me and when the LX 600's interior was revealed I was disappointed. It seems they're going for more eco friendly interiors these days. As far as tech and usability goes of course the new LX is better, in fact as a whole package it absolutely is, but it's missing that charm the old one had.
When the second facelift LX (2016) dropped I remember disliking its rear end compared to my dad's 2013. Over time it grew on me and I actually prefer it now. I also love the supercharged version that dropped for the 2014-15MY. The pre-facelift (2008-11) LX 570 is my least favorite especially the 2011MY with the body kit. The 2012+ and 2016+ have sharper styling and a better interior (the dials on the 2008+ are an eyesore vs 2012+). [This](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMOwrOgAf8M) exact spec is my favorite LX 570.
Seems like every J200 I see is from 2013 (both LC and LX) but the 2021 version is really nice. Nori Green with ARB front, Slee rear, then some LC HE wheels would be my perfect 570.
