Hey all! Hitting my year sober mark and wanted to chat about benefits of it. For disclosure, I didn’t have a problem with alcohol, but it was common for me to have drinks 2-3 times a week, which was taking a toll on me. Out of the most common benefits, I can point to two particularly. 1. Money. Jesus. I have maxed out my ISA. No more to say here. 2. A few weeks into my sobriety I found I had a mental fogginess I wasn’t aware of. I started noticing better sleep, more awareness, more mindfulness, and it just started permeating every aspect of my life. That was the tilting point for me. 3. Fitness. Needles to say I have grown decent muscle!! Want to hear some stories.
