I have the 4.25” and it sucks ass. Sent back to EAA (I had to pay shipping both ways) for extraction and accuracy issues. They tuned the extractor and changed the barrel. 50 rounds later, the plate behind the firing pin came off and had to be replaced. My Girsan beretta clone has been completely reliable so I’m at 50% with EAA
I just like the aesthetics of the long slide 1911s so much that I don't care if they're not optimal or whatever. It's worth it to me to get the long slide. But thanks for the tip on the deal!
Reminds me of my ex-wife: Big, ugly, and complicated for as expensive as it is… but it packs a wallop and you can’t help but be intrigued. Plus, the beaver is sharp!
I was waiting for this to drop since they announced it last year. It kept getting pushed back and pushed back and some of the reviews are not great. 10 pound trigger and reliability issues. Anyone have experience with these yet?
Yeah reviews aren't glowing at this point. If I were you I'd look at the Tisas double stack 1911 or Mac 9 double stack 1911. They seem to be better for the price. And I beleive Tisas doesn't use mim parts.
